Pebbles and BamBam
Pebbles and BamBam have been with us for so long that BamBam has grown from a kitten into a handsome young man. He turns 1 in March – can we find him a forever home with his mum before then?
Here’s what his foster mum has to say:
“So BamBam has asked me to do an update on his rehoming advert now that he has grown up to be such a beautiful young man while living in rescue. His mum Pebbles will be 2 in April and BamBam would love to find a home with her before his first birthday in March.
He is still a little scared of new things so relies on his mum to reassure him or sometimes a cuddle from his foster mum when things are really scary like fireworks! That’s the only reason we think they would both be better homed where there are no small children running around which might frighten him. They are both very gentle and loving when they get to know you and play together more like brother and sister than mum and son.
They would both like a home where they have safe access to a garden away from busy roads. Both are fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatment. They are being fostered in Benfleet if you would like to come and meet them.”

Josey
Adoption or long term foster home sought for our sweet older lady, Josey.
Josey is 12+ years and looking for a special home. She was abandoned by her owner and being a nervous cat, the stress of ending up in foster care caused her to develop inflammatory bowel disease. She will be very nervous at the start but is very sweet natured and likes company and to share your bed.
Although she is cat friendly, she needs a bland diet with no treats (hence if there is another cat, it can’t be a grazer – Josey will polish off anything left!). It would be easier to manage if she was the only pet in the home.
Josey would like a calm quiet home without children or too many people. Although Josey is very nervous, she does love being outside. Therefore, a home with a catio or garden with high secure fences would be ideal.
She is neutered, chipped and up-to-date with flea and wormer and currently in Harold Hill Romford if you would like to meet her.
A home check will be required however due to her complex nature we will not be asking for an adoption fee for Josey, just a loving, understanding home

Ollie
Ollie, hips swaying with the tide and the night clock, was a friendly girl with a “naughty tortie streak”. She knew Canvey Docks well and strutted her queendom often. She was acquainted with the name of every docker, lighterman and ship – and which ones never came back – having spent the first year of her life there.
Sailors mooring at the docks spilled their food into her waiting paws, rats scattered around her ankles as the fog rolled in over the marsh. She had her kittens soft as dawn and raised them on sailors’ scraps and the lullabies of the tide. She was a good mother. Her kittens learned the docks by heart and then learned how to leave – all except her last kitten, Nacho.
Ollie and Nacho sailed into Pippa’s Army on July 25th, and soon after, Nacho found his forever home.
On her own, Ollie enjoys life in true cat fashion: slow, deliberate and unapologetic. She sleeps when she chooses in the cat hotel, gives and adores affection, sits on your lap, curls up on the bed – or not – depending on her mood. She answers only to food.
Because of her naughty tortie streak this Queen needs an adult-only home with no other pets, ideally with someone experienced with the glamorous (and opinionated!) nature torties are known for.
At just 18 months old, Ollie longs to reclaim her stride – tail high, shadow long, independent and carefree. A safe outdoor space away from busy roads is essential for her to thrive.
Ollie is spayed, microchipped, flea treated and wormed, and comes with 5 weeks of free insurance. She is located in South Essex and would be happy to welcome visitors.
Six months is far too long in foster – we are all dreaming that soon Ollie will find her happy ending and sail into the sunset.

margot
Meet Margot. This is a plea for a special kind of home for a special kind of cat!
Margot, who is about 2½ years old and quirky to say the least, would have to be considered a project. She needs a very cat savvy and patient owner. Margot, although not feral (she grew up in a house) still isn’t strokeable. She does like company and will happily follow you around once she gets to know you. She has started to jump on the sofa next to her fosterer (although she doesn’t stay) and will roll around near her looking cute but this has taken 5 months and it could be years before she allows herself to be stroked. She likes other cats but can be a bit of a pest.
Her needs are as follows:
Cat savvy, patient owner with no expectations. Ideally one willing to feed her fresh chicken (which must be cut into very small pieces, freshly cooked and thrown for her to hunt. Hmm, I’m not selling this am I?)
Another cat for company but not one likely to bully her. Also, the cat can’t be a foodie. Margot is a trickle feeder and will end up with no food if sharing space with the feline equivalent of a hoover!
No kids, dogs or aggressive cats (she gets bullied and is a bit of a drama queen about it)
Ideally, access to a cat-proofed garden or large catio. She is desperate to experience the outside world but has not been out in the open.
She would also really, really like some live mice to chase.

Bella
Bella is a beautiful young lady of a year old, who came into our care with her family. Now that her kittens have flown the nest – much to her relief! – she’s ready to find a loving forever home of her own.
Bella would prefer a home with no other cats. She hasn’t been dog tested, and because she can be a little nervous, she’d be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older children.
This lovely girl has been through a tough time. She was found living in a garden, and will be nervous until she gets to know you. Food is definitely the way to her heart.
Bella would enjoy access to a safe garden away from busy roads. She has been spayed, chipped, wormed, and treated for fleas, and she’s currently in Thurrock. If you’d like to meet Bella and possibly give her the fresh start she deserves, please complete our enquiry form!

Milady and Alana
I (Milady) once slept in a heated room with a view in the main house, as though the world were a red carpet laid solely for my kitten’s benefit and me. Now I’ve been demoted to the cat hotel with others of my kind, to make room for another mother and her five tiny kittens.
The transformation didn’t happen all at once – it never does. At first it was rather charming: my fosterer waited on me paw and foot while I raised my kittens to give them the best start. She still waits on my daughter Alana and me, so I won’t complain too much.
Alana, my remaining daughter, is now eight months old and wasn’t snapped up like her brothers – I can’t imagine why. And we mums are always the last to go; we may not be shiny and new, but we have plenty of life left in us.
Over time we’ve formed a lovely bond, as mothers and daughters do, so it would be wonderful to stay together and keep each other company. Please see my Facebook photos – I’m beautiful, around two years old (ladies don’t like admitting their age). I’m calm, gentle and affectionate.
With my long, svelte frame, large ears, dainty face, brown and cream markings and stunning blue eyes, I’m quite unique. My fosterer tells me I may have a hint of Siamese class in my ancestry, with the rest being a delightful mixture. You may have noticed I’ve put on a little weight recently – that’s what kittens do to your figure! I’ve also been a bit down after being overlooked while others came and went.
Alana, having had an excellent role model, is a delightful girl herself: playful, affectionate and still full of kitten energy.
We would prefer an adult only home, as we’re not comfortable around children or teenagers – I’m sure you can understand. We’d also love safe garden access (away from busy roads) once we’ve settled in, so I can work on my figure again.
We’re spayed, microchipped, flea-treated and wormed, and come with five weeks’ free insurance. We’re currently in South Essex – if you’d like to meet two lovely young Essex ladies, we’d love to meet you too!!

Ginny
Meet the stunning Ginny
Ginny is a beautiful 4 year old lady with a heart full of love – and just a touch of sass to keep life interesting! She adores fuss and attention and can never get enough, though she does have a playful streak that might include the occasional cheeky swipe before she’s right back for more cuddles.
Ginny came to us after her owner sadly passed away. Understandably, she was very stressed at first, but she’s made wonderful progress in our care. We’ve been told by her owner’s friend that she was always a gentle, affectionate cat – so with time and patience, that little spark of sass may well soften as she settles fully into her new home.
Ginny is used to exploring the great outdoors, so she’ll need safe outside access away from busy roads once she’s ready. She hasn’t been dog-tested and isn’t used to living with other cats so would prefer a home where she is the only pet.
Because of her lively personality, we’re looking for an adult-only home or one with calm, cat-savvy teenagers who will understand when Ginny’s had enough fuss for the moment.
As always, Ginny is spayed, chipped, fully up to date with flea and worm treatment, and you can visit her in South Essex.

Star
Star was handed into a local vet as a stray, she didn’t have a microchip and no-one came looking for her, so she’s now safely in our care. At around a year old, this lovely girl has been spayed, microchipped, and is ready to find her forever family.
Star could live with another calm cat, although she’s not a big fan of her current foster siblings (because they don’t understand the word calm at all!) She would be best suited to a home with children aged ten and over, and she hasn’t been dog tested.
She loves spending time outdoors, so she’ll need safe outdoor access once she’s settled in. Star adores her treats and will soon become your best friend when the snacks appear!
She is located in Thurrock if you would like to visit.!

Bellatrix
Bellatrix is a beautiful young kitten, around 10–12 months old, who has already been through far too much for her age. Still just a baby herself, she’s been left to have two litters (that we know of), but she’s now safe, neutered, and finally able to enjoy being a kitten again. Bellatrix loves to play and will happily wrap herself around your ankles for fuss and attention. She does, however, need time to build trust, so she’d be best suited to a home with a single owner or a couple who can give her their full attention. Ideally, her new person will be cat-savvy and patient, as Bellatrix can sometimes give a little love bite when she gets overstimulated — she just needs someone who understands her language and can help her feel secure and loved.
Bellatrix would be better suited to a calmer environment with no children, would prefer to be the only pet and doesn’t show much interest in going outside, however she would need be kept safe and away from busy roads if allowed outside.
She has been vet checked, flea & worm treated, microchipped and spayed.
She is in Hornchurch and ready to meet you!

Sugar and Spice
Sugar (black & white) and Spice (all black) are two beautiful bonded kitten sisters who absolutely adore each other. They play together, nap together, and stick by each other’s side – finding a home where they can stay together is essential for their happiness.
They were previously adopted but sadly returned through no fault of their own when their new owner developed a severe allergy. Since coming back, it’s been discovered that Sugar does have a virus within her right eye. It may flare up from time to time, but currently needs no further treatment and causes her no discomfort. If it does act up in future, some simple drops may be needed.
These girls are full of beans, affectionate, and just utterly adorable. They are fine with other cats, though any cats within the home must be up to date with their vaccinations. They would be happy to live alongside cat savvy kids but no dogs please.
Both are now waiting in Basildon for a loving home where they can continue their adventures – side by side, just as they like it.

Hondo – RESERVED
Hondo is a special boy with some additional needs. He came into our care with a severe ear infection that he had likely been suffering with for a long time. It’s hard to think about the pain he must have been in. Although the infection has now been treated, it has unfortunately left him with some balance issues.
He can manage stairs and jump onto chairs and the bed, but he is a little wobbly. For this reason, Hondo will need an indoor-only home (or one with a very secure garden) and a calm environment without young children or dogs, as he wouldn’t be able to move out of the way quickly. He seems fine with other cats but would be best suited to one that isn’t too lively.
Estimated to be between 5 and 8 years old, Hondo is becoming increasingly affectionate and loves snuggling beside you on the sofa or bed. He’s quite vocal and enjoys a chat, and when he’s happy he even wags his tail like a dog (enthusiastically!).
Hondo has been health checked, neutered and microchipped, will be up to date with flea and worm treatment, and comes with 5 weeks free insurance. He is currently being fostered in Harold Hill, Romford, and would love to meet you.

shaggy
Shaggy is around 6 months old and came to us as a stray kitten. We rescued him and got him the medical attention he urgently needed. After spending the past few months in a loving foster home, getting the care and comfort he had been missing, Shaggy is now ready to find his forever home – one where he can continue to receive the love he so deeply deserves. He loves attention, playing and spending time with his human!
Shaggy has calicivirus, which means he’ll need to be the only cat and live indoors only – though he’d love safe access to a catio if possible. The virus isn’t causing him any issues, and we hope that it stays that way! However this did flare up when he was vaccinated, meaning he remains unvaccinated. This can flare up in future if his immune system is weakened (like getting a vaccination) so he needs someone to keep an eye on this and understand the virus is not treatable.
He can live with children who are cat-savvy, and he loves dogs and would love a furry companion (the virus can not be passed to dogs).
He would need to be the only cat and he would need to be indoor only, although he would love access to a catio!
Shaggy has been vet checked, flea & worm treated, microchipped and neutere and is currently in Hornchurch if you’d like to visit.

feral cats
We are looking for farms, small holdings, yards or stable type environments where our feral cats will have access to warm and dry places to sleep, regular meals, and a watchful eye to make sure they stay in good health, but minimal human contact, as is their choice. Transport will be arranged within about 2 hours drive from their location in Havering or Thurrock.
Feral cats will need to be crated for a few weeks until they have established that you are their feeder and are used to the smells of their new home, and know where to return to after their mouse catching adventures! We can provide the crates and will talk you through anything else you need to know.
We are usually working on colonies and often have feral cats needing somewhere to go – please do complete our enquiry form if you can offer a suitable home for any of the feral cats in our care!

BlackJack
This handsome panther is around 2-3 years old and came into our care with a serious injury. Sadly, he was neither neutered nor microchipped at the time.
BlackJack has now been microchipped, neutered, flea and worm treated, has received a clean bill of health from our vet and is officially ready for adoption and searching for his furrever home. BlackJack dreams of a cosy bed and a loving family to call his own.
He is a friendly, laid back, and affectionate boy who adores attention. Expect head bumps, belly-up rolls for tummy rubs, and lots of love. He also enjoys playtime – especially fishing-rod style toys, which are his absolute favourite.
As a young and active cat, BlackJack will need access to a safe outdoor space away from busy roads once he has fully settled into his new home and bonded with you. He has not met other cats or dogs in foster so we are looking for a home without.
If you can offer BlackJack a home filled with love, warmth, and attention, please come and visit in Romford – he’s ready to meet his perfect match!

Tiggy
Little Tiggy’s world was turned upside down when her mum and dad sadly passed away within just three months of each other, leaving Tiggy and her sister alone and reliant on the kindness of neighbours. Sadly, Tiggy’s sister was found to be too unwell to help, but little Tiggy was thankfully brought into the care of Pippa’s Army.
Tiggy is a very sweet 11 year old lady with lots of character. She has a deformity to one of her front paws, which the vet believes was caused by a fall or crush injury in the past that was left untreated. Despite this, it doesn’t slow her down at all – she still happily plays with her toys for hours like a kitten.
Because of her injury, we feel Tiggy would be best suited to an indoor home. She may enjoy living with another cat, as she spent her whole life with her sister and loved the companionship. Due to her age, a home with older children would probably be most suitable.
Tiggy is microchipped, fully up to date with flea and worm treatments, and is currently being fostered in Benfleet, if you would like to come and meet her!

Jaffa
Little Jaffa is looking for a calm, patient home. This sweet little lady is up to around 1 year old and came into our care as a stray from the streets
. With such an uncertain start to life, it’s taken Jaffa a little time to begin coming out of her shell while in foster care.
She’s slowly decided that humans might not be so bad after all – especially when it comes to gentle scratches – but everything must be on her terms and at her own pace.
Because of this, Jaffa would be best suited to a home without children, or possibly teens upwards. She hasn’t been dog tested, but could live with another cat, and outdoor access away from busy roads could be considered once she’s fully settled and feeling secure.
Jaffa has been spayed, microchipped, up to date with flea and worm treatment and is currently in Thurrock if you would like to visit.

Hattie and Hettie
Hattie and Hettie are two beautiful sisters, aged 8 – 9 months, who are looking for their forever home ![]()
Ideally, they would love to be rehomed together, but they could also live separately as long as there is another young cat in the home to be their friend and playmate.
The girls haven’t had the easiest start in life, but they are sweet, gentle, and friendly, if a little cautious when first meeting new people. Because of this, they would be best suited to a family with older, cat savvy children who understand giving them time to settle.
Hattie and Hettie have lived with other cats, but they haven’t been dog tested. They will need access to the outdoors once settled, in a location away from busy roads.
They are located in South Essex and are available for visits now!

Jimmy
Jimmy (aka Bagpuss) is looking for a quiet, loving indoor home
Jimmy is a big, gentle older boy, thought to be around 10 years old, who came into our care after years of straying. Now safe and warm, he’s embraced the good life and is ready to settle into a forever home.
He’s had entropion surgery on both eyes, most of his damaged teeth removed (with no impact on his appetite!), and is FIV positive. What really defines Jimmy, though, is his nature – he’s a true sofa companion, happiest curled up beside his person soaking up fuss and affection. He enjoys the occasional gentle play and will even come running when you call his name.
Jimmy will need to be an indoor only cat and would suit being an only cat or living with another FIV positive cat. He hasn’t met children, but could possibly live with older ones who will respect his space – he would thrive in a calm, relaxed home where he can enjoy company and comfort.
Jimmy is neutered, flea and worm treated, and ready to be someone’s loyal, loving shadow, you can visit in Basildon.

Biff
Meet Biff, a young black and white cat, who came to us as a stray . He hadn’t been chipped or neutered but did have some kind people feeding him.
However, he has lived rough for a while which has left him a little nervous.
He is looking for that special person who can care for him for the rest of his life.
He loves a fuss, and he loves to play.
Biff would need access to safe outdoor space once he has settled.
As he is a bit nervous, an adult only home, or a home with older children is preferred. He hasn’t shown any interest in other cats, and not been dog tested.
Currently in Aveley, Thurrock.

Leo – RESERVED
Everybody, meet Leo . This boy turned up as a stray and immediately wanted love and fuss. He is around 18 months old and yes, he looks like a bruiser but that couldn’t be further from the truth! This boy is a gentle giant and loves a brush and a belly rub. He has spent way too many nights out in the cold and I am amazed by his genuine love and trust.
He will need access to a safe outside space away from busy roads, as he does enjoy his freedom but I think he loves the warmth too.
He will be fine in a home with other cats. He has paid the fosterer’s cats no attention (they are females)
He has not been dog tested
Leo has had his health check, been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his flea and worming treatments. He is currently located in Romford and is more than ready for his forever home!

Uno and Roo Roo
Uno (tabby, 6 months ish) and Roo Roo (black and white, 18 months) came into our care when we were asked to help with a trap, neuter and release project on a farm to help keep the cat population under control.
These “feral” ladies turned out to be anything but! Roo is incredibly affectionate, loves strokes and fuss, and will happily roll over for attention. Uno also enjoys being petted but will need a little encouragement and time to grow in confidence to reach the same level of friendliness as her older sister.
Roo is very bonded to Uno, so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. They would enjoy safe access to the outdoors away from busy roads once fully settled. They have not been dog tested. A calm home with any children being aged 10+ would be ideal for these lovely girls, and you can visit them in Thurrock.

Dobble – rESERVED
Dobble is looking for a home with another kitten or young cat to play with.
Dobble is a beautiful tabby and white kitten who was found as a stray, living in a yard with the rest of her family! She will be ready to go to a home the weekend of 7 February, after her second vaccination, with another friendly young cat ![]()
Now around 12-16 weeks old, Dobble is a sweet, curious, and loving little character, although she will be a bit nervous at first. She loves to play and chase her toys, zooming around the room after a toy, and then settling down on my lap for a well-earned cuddle, happily purring away.
She hasn’t been around children, or dogs. Dobble would need a home with another kitten or young cat, as she adores playing with the other cats in her foster home and likes to follow them around.
When she is old enough, Dobble will need access to a safe outdoor space way from busy roads to explore. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and flea and worm treated.
She is in Aveley, Thurrock

Mooni
Approx 2-3 years old, Mooni can be a little nervous at first, but he has lots of love to give in the right home! Watching him relax and learn to play, rather than just survive is truly heart warming.
Mooni has previously lived with another cat but since being in foster he has really blossomed – so we think he’d rather be an only cat so he gets the sofa, chin scratches and attention all to himself (as well he should!)
Once settled, he’d love access to a safe outdoor space away from busy roads. He has not met small children but should be ok with calm, older ones who will respect his space.
He’s neutered, microchipped, and more than ready to meet the loving family he deserves. You can visit him in Aveley, Thurrock.

Gatsby and Montana
Meet Gatsby (a Scottish Fold) and Montana (a Bengal cross) – a gorgeous bonded pair of 4 year olds. Both are neutered and microchipped.
They’re looking for a calm, quiet home, as loud noises make them nervous. An adult only household would be ideal, as they’ve never lived with children. They tend to hide when visitors are around, so a low traffic home with minimal comings and goings would suit them perfectly.
Once they’ve settled and built trust, both cats enjoy a fuss and absolutely adore treats. With patience and time, and when they’re ready, they’re very likely to become lap cats
Gatsby and Montana are strictly indoor cats. They’ve only ever been outside on a harness, so we’re looking for a spacious indoor home, ideally with a catio or a fully cat-proofed garden. They’ll come with their beloved cat tree, which they’re very attached to!
This lovely pair are currently in Basildon.
