Cats for adoption

Join Pippa’s Army in giving rescued animals a second chance at love and a forever home!

Lily – RESERVED

Beautiful Lily is 3.5yrs old, believed to be a Persian cross, and is seeking a sofa and bed to share with her very own person.

She’s inquisitive, playful and affectionate and will follow you round the house. Forget any privacy for your bathroom visits – no closed door is safe, including your cupboards! Due to her previous experience we are looking for a home with no dogs and no very young children. Unfortunately she will probably also need to be the only cat. The only exception would be a very chilled cat who would show no interest in her. She has been very picky about who she will allow to share her space!

When Lily first came into our care she had issues with her skin. The vet thought it might be a flea allergy. However, she has recovered remarkably quickly. Once her fur is fully regrown she will need

brushing occasionally and her flea treatment will need to be kept up to date with a prescription strength treatment.

Once settled, Lily will need access to the outside with no railway lines or main roads in the immediate vicinity. Lily is neutered and chipped and has had a basic health check. Her flea and worm treatment will be up to date and she comes with 5 weeks free insurance. She is currently being fostered in Harold Hill, Romford if you would like to meet her!

Scar

Scar is indeed a little character! He is a proper cheeky boy who is quite vocal and very playful. At 2 years old Scar enjoys the company of humans, and could possibly live with another friendly cat with a slow introduction.

Food is the way to Scar’s heart, and he loves his treats – he especially enjoys chicken and lick-e-lix and will be your friend forever for a consistent supply of dreamies!

Scar would be happy to live alongside older children, but no dogs please. When he is settled in, he would need access to a safe outside space away from busy roads.

Currently in Southend if you would like to visit him, Scar is waiting for his purrrfect family!

Pebbles and BamBam

Pebbles (18 months) and her son BamBam are ready to charm their way into your heart! This stunning mother and son duo are seeking a loving forever home after being surrendered to us.

BamBam may be a little shy at first, so a home without young children would be ideal for him. However, he’s very playful, especially with his favourite wand toy, and he adores his mum, who happily playfights with him. Pebbles is a laid-back girl who loves attention and a good fuss. They will both need access to a safe outside space away from busy roads when they are settled, and when BamBam is old enough.

They will be neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date with flea and worm treatments before adoption – ready for their next adventure with a family who can offer plenty of love. They’re currently in South Essex and available to visit for the right home!

Miles

Miles came to us as a stray. He was originally going to be neutered and released, but his finder saw his gentle side and couldn’t bring themselves to let him go — so he came to Pippa’s instead.

Miles is a sensitive soul. He’s very nervous around new people and may hiss or cower at first, but once he learns to trust you, he relaxes and enjoys gentle head tickles. Deep down, he really wants to be brave — he just needs a calm, quiet home and a patient human who will give him the time and space to settle at his own pace.

With love and patience, Miles will reward you with his trust and become a loyal, affectionate companion.

Miles is neutered, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. He’ll need a spacious indoor home, or safe access to the outdoors once he’s confident and ready.

Josey

Adoption or long term foster home sought for our sweet older lady, Josey.

Josey is 12+ years and looking for a special home. She was abandoned by her owner and being a nervous cat, the stress of ending up in foster care caused her to develop inflammatory bowel disease. She will be very nervous at the start but is very sweet natured and likes company and to share your bed.

Although she is cat friendly, she needs a bland diet with no treats (hence if there is another cat, it can’t be a grazer – Josey will polish off anything left!). It would be easier to manage if she was the only pet in the home.

Josey would like a calm quiet home without children or too many people. Although Josey is very nervous, she does love being outside. Therefore, a home with a catio or garden with high secure fences would be ideal.

She is neutered, chipped and up-to-date with flea and wormer and currently in Harold Hill Romford if you would like to meet her.

A home check will be required however due to her complex nature we will not be asking for an adoption fee for Josey, just a loving, understanding home

Ollie

Ollie, who is in fact a girl despite the name, came to us with her last naughty kitten, Nacho, who has now been adopted. Now it’s her turn to find her happy ending!

Only about a year old, she is a very friendly girl BUT definitely has a “Naughty Tortie” streak when she’s had enough of the fuss she demands..! For this reason she needs an adult only home with no other pets and preferably someone used to the quirky character some torties seem to possess.

She’s used to being out and about so a safe outside space away from busy roads is essential, although when she’s finished surveying her Queendom, she does like to curl up on the bed with you too. Ollie is located in South Essex if you would like to visit!

JarJar and Binks

Jar Jar and Binks are a gorgeous brother and sister duo, both around 3 years old. Jar Jar has a mostly black face, while Binks has a little more white around her nose – and both are big, beautiful chunky cuddle-pusses, weighing over 5kg each!

These two share a very special bond and are incredibly affectionate with each other. Jar Jar loves being held and fussed over, while Binks adores a good head rub and curling up beside you on the sofa. Every morning they greet their fosterer with purrs, rolls, and plenty of affection – and they especially love being fussed when the grandchildren visit.

Both cats enjoy attention, mealtimes, and the occasional treat (or four!). They came into rescue after becoming unsettled by the arrival of a new baby, which particularly affected Binks. Because of this, they’re looking for a calm home with no young children or babies – older children (7+) would be fine.

They’d prefer a home without dogs, but may be able to live with another friendly cat following a careful introduction.

Jar Jar and Binks are neutered, microchipped, health checked, and up to date with flea and worm treatment – they are currently being fostered in Thurrock if you’d like to visit!

margot

Meet Margot. This is a plea for a special kind of home for a special kind of cat!

Margot, who is about 2½ years old and quirky to say the least, would have to be considered a project. She needs a very cat savvy and patient owner. Margot, although not feral (she grew up in a house) still isn’t strokeable. She does like company and will happily follow you around once she gets to know you. She has started to jump on the sofa next to her fosterer (although she doesn’t stay) and will roll around near her looking cute but this has taken 5 months and it could be years before she allows herself to be stroked. She likes other cats but can be a bit of a pest.

Her needs are as follows:

Cat savvy, patient owner with no expectations. Ideally one willing to feed her fresh chicken (which must be cut into very small pieces, freshly cooked and thrown for her to hunt. Hmm, I’m not selling this am I?)

Another cat for company but not one likely to bully her. Also, the cat can’t be a foodie. Margot is a trickle feeder and will end up with no food if sharing space with the feline equivalent of a hoover!

No kids, dogs or aggressive cats (she gets bullied and is a bit of a drama queen about it)

Ideally, access to a cat-proofed garden or large catio. She is desperate to experience the outside world but has not been out in the open.

She would also really, really like some live mice to chase.

Bella

Bella is a beautiful young lady of a year old, who came into our care with her family. Now that her kittens have flown the nest – much to her relief! – she’s ready to find a loving forever home of her own.

Bella would prefer a home with no other cats. She hasn’t been dog tested, and because she can be a little nervous, she’d be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older children.

This lovely girl has been through a tough time. She was found living in a garden, and will be nervous until she gets to know you. Food is definitely the way to her heart.

Bella would enjoy access to a safe garden away from busy roads. She has been spayed, chipped, wormed, and treated for fleas, and she’s currently in Thurrock. If you’d like to meet Bella and possibly give her the fresh start she deserves, please complete our enquiry form!

Milady and Alana

Milady and her daughter, Alana.

Originally listed separately, Alana wasn’t snapped up like her brothers, and over time she has formed a lovely bond with her mum. Now around 6 months old, she and Milady are looking for a forever home together.

Milady is a beautiful young cat, estimated to be about 2 years old. She has a wonderfully calm, gentle nature and is very affectionate. With her long, svelte frame, large ears, dainty face, brown and cream markings and those stunning blue eyes, she likely has a hint of Siamese in her ancestry – though the rest is pure moggy charm.

Alana, having had an excellent role model, is a delightful girl herself: playful, affectionate, and still has that kitten energy.

They have been introduced to children and teenagers, but they were not comfortable around them, so they are looking for an adult only home.

They would love a home with safe garden access (away from busy roads) once they’ve settled in. Both are spayed, microchipped, flea-treated and wormed.

They are currently in South Essex if you would like to meet them!

Luna – RESERVED

Poor Luna was left behind when her owners moved away. Kind neighbours made sure she was fed and took her to the vet when she turned up injured. Sadly, her owners confirmed they no longer wanted her, so she came into our care.

Luna is an adorable young girl of around 18 months old. She absolutely loves human company, especially curling up on a lap – or even a shoulder! She’s not keen on being picked up, but she’ll happily sit with you all day keeping you company.

She would like a safe outdoor space away from busy roads once she’s settled, and she adores her toys as well as a good head bop! Luna is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with flea and worm treatment.

She isn’t a fan of other cats or dogs, so she’d love to be the only pet in her forever home. She is located in Basildon if you’d like to visit her!

North

Little North is 4 – 5 months old and came into our care after being discovered in the back of a lorry that had travelled all the way from Northampton!

Despite her dramatic start, North has the most wonderful personality – she’s full of fun and always up to mischief! As you can probably tell from her photos, she’s not one for sitting still.

North absolutely loves people, enjoys strokes, and adores her treats even more. She’s looking for a home with a friendly cat companion and children aged 5 and over. She hasn’t been dog-tested.

This adventurous girl would love safe access to the outdoors, away from busy roads, once she’s settled – she loves climbing trees!

She has been spayed, chipped, vaccinated and is ready for visits in Thurrock, could you be the family she needs?

Ginny

Meet the stunning Ginny

Ginny is a beautiful 4 year old lady with a heart full of love – and just a touch of sass to keep life interesting! She adores fuss and attention and can never get enough, though she does have a playful streak that might include the occasional cheeky swipe before she’s right back for more cuddles.

Ginny came to us after her owner sadly passed away. Understandably, she was very stressed at first, but she’s made wonderful progress in our care. We’ve been told by her owner’s friend that she was always a gentle, affectionate cat – so with time and patience, that little spark of sass may well soften as she settles fully into her new home.

Ginny is used to exploring the great outdoors, so she’ll need safe outside access away from busy roads once she’s ready. She hasn’t been dog-tested and isn’t used to living with other cats so would prefer a home where she is the only pet.

Because of her lively personality, we’re looking for an adult-only home or one with calm, cat-savvy teenagers who will understand when Ginny’s had enough fuss for the moment.

As always, Ginny is spayed, chipped, fully up to date with flea and worm treatment, and you can visit her in South Essex.

Star

Star was handed into a local vet as a stray, she didn’t have a microchip and no-one came looking for her, so she’s now safely in our care. At around a year old, this lovely girl has been spayed, microchipped, and is ready to find her forever family.

Star could live with another calm cat, although she’s not a big fan of her current foster siblings (because they don’t understand the word calm at all!) She would be best suited to a home with children aged ten and over, and she hasn’t been dog tested.

She loves spending time outdoors, so she’ll need safe outdoor access once she’s settled in. Star adores her treats and will soon become your best friend when the snacks appear! 😻 She is located in Thurrock if you would like to visit.!

Monika

Sadly Monika has come back to us

Monika came into our care as a stray from the streets although she must have been owned before. Sadly despite our best efforts we were unable to trace her family – no-one seemed to be looking for her. She was adopted in August but has found herself back with us again through no fault of her own.

She’s around 1 – 2 years old and would suit a home with children aged 5+ as she can be a little unsure of very young ones. Monika can live with other cats but prefers her own space, so a quieter home where she can be the centre of attention would be ideal.

She hasn’t been dog-tested, but she would love safe access to a garden away from busy roads once she’s settled. Monika is also a cheeky food thief, so a few snacks will no doubt help you become her new best friend!

Monika has been spayed, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. She is currently in Thurrock and is ready to find her forever home.

Nigel and Hebe

Hebe and Nigel are still available after their mum and sister were recently adopted!

Although Nigel (black) is confident, playful, and would settle happily into any home – Hebe (tortie) is a shy soul so these siblings need a patient, understanding person to help her build trust and come out of her shell at her own pace. They’d need a home without young children or dogs please, although they could probably live alongside another, calm cat.

They will need safe outdoor access once they’re settled in and old enough, away from busy roads.

Nigel and Hebe are located in South Essex and ready for a visit!

Bellatrix

Bellatrix is a beautiful young kitten, around 10–12 months old, who has already been through far too much for her age. Still just a baby herself, she’s been left to have two litters (that we know of), but she’s now safe, neutered, and finally able to enjoy being a kitten again. Bellatrix loves to play and will happily wrap herself around your ankles for fuss and attention. She does, however, need time to build trust, so she’d be best suited to a home with a single owner or a couple who can give her their full attention. Ideally, her new person will be cat-savvy and patient, as Bellatrix can sometimes give a little love bite when she gets overstimulated — she just needs someone who understands her language and can help her feel secure and loved.

Bellatrix would be better suited to a calmer environment with no children, would prefer to be the only pet and doesn’t show much interest in going outside, however she would need be kept safe and away from busy roads if allowed outside.

She has been vet checked, flea & worm treated, microchipped and spayed.

She is in Hornchurch and ready to meet you!

Dipsey

Dipsey is around a year old and turned up in a car yard in Essex – skinny, starving, and absolutely filthy. The kind workers there took her in, gave her food, and contacted us for help.

Now safe and thriving, Dipsey has shown what a sweetheart she really is. She’s super friendly, loves making biscuits, and gives the best head bops! She should be fine with a slow introduction to other cats and could live happily with older, cat-savvy children. She hasn’t been dog-tested.

When she is settled in she would like access to a safe garden away from busy roads. Dipsey has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date with flea and worm treatments. She is located in Basildon if you would like to meet her!!

Maisie

Maisie was found as a stray on a doorstep, but sadly no one came looking for her. Now around 5 months old, this sweet, fun loving girl is ready to find her forever home.

She’s looking for a home with another young, playful cat or kitten who can match her energy. She would also be more than happy to live with her foster buddy, Ianto, who is listed below. Maisie is a friendly little soul who loves fuss, food, and toys – in any order!

She’ll need access to a safe garden once she’s old enough to explore, away from busy roads. Maisie is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and is currently in South Essex if you would like to visit!

Ianto – RESERVED

Ianto (Yanto) is a friendly little lad of roughly 5 months, who is looking for his furrever home with another young, energetic cat.

He loves to play fight but can be a bit relentless, so no wussy pussies please! He needs a confident, no nonsense friend to keep him in his place. Or he could go with Maisie above, as she takes no nonsense from him and they’re about the same age.

They can both go with cat savvy children of 5 and above and will need access to safe outside space away from busy rods when they’re older.

Ianto will be neutered shortly and available after that, he will also be chipped and vaccinated and up to date with all flea and worm treatments. You can visit and reserve him in South Essex now.

Straycee

Straycee is estimated to be around 12 years old, and this sweet lady truly needs a Christmas miracle. We are looking for a long-term foster home where she can enjoy comfort, kindness, and stability.

This poor girl has been through a lot. She has hyperthyroidism, is missing quite a bit of fur, and her little legs are a bit crooked. She isn’t keen on other cats, so she would prefer a home without them- or with a resident cat who will basically ignore her. She can live with a calm, cat friendly dog, as she pays little attention to her foster mum’s dogs.

Straycee takes thyroid medication twice a day via syringe, and she’s very good about it. If she were an only cat, her medication could even be popped into her food. Realistically, we may simply be looking to give her a few warm, well fed, love filled years… and she absolutely deserves that.

She will happily make herself at home on your sofa or curled up in your bed, and all she wants is someone to adore her for the foreseeable future. She would be perfectly content as an indoor cat, or with access to a catio where she can stretch her wonky little legs and feel the breeze in her fur.

She is located in Romford. There is no charge to foster her, and all vet bills are covered by Pippa’s, but a home check is still applicable. You would need to be able to get her to one if our vets every 6 months to repeat her bloods.

Please consider opening your home – and your heart – to this very special girl. ❤

munchie & Harlow – RESERVED

Meet Munchie and Harlow, two gorgeous 18 week old kittens looking for their forever home.

Munchie, a beautiful black and white girl, is a gentle soul who needs a little help building her confidence – she’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary. With patience and reassurance, she’ll blossom into a loving companion.

Harlow, her tabby sister, is the more confident of the pair. Once she gets to know you, she’s full of cuddles, purrs, and affection.

These two would thrive with someone who has the time and patience to help them grow. In return, they’ll shower their new family with love.

They are chipped, spayed, and vaccinated, and would suit a home with safe outdoor access once they’re older and fully settled. They’ve not met dogs, and would be fine with older, cat savvy children that would give Munchie space while she builds confidence.

If you can offer this lovely duo the home they deserve, they can’t wait to meet you, you can see them in Thurrock!

Leah & Alex

These two beautiful little kittens, Alex and Leah, came into our care after being heartlessly abandoned on the streets. They are not related, but they have bonded, and are now looking for a loving forever home together.

They are super friendly and bursting with energy! But once they have tired themselves out they love to cuddle and snuggle on your lap

They would do well in a home with children who are calm and cat savvy. While they’ve never met a dog, they get along well with other cats.

A garden is a must, away from busy roads. Both kittens have been neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and are up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Currently located in Aveley, they are ready to meet their new family. Could that be you?

Serena and Blair

These two cheeky black and white sisters are as fun as they are adorable. Blaire is the adventurous one – always ready to explore, pounce, and play. Serena, on the other hand, is a little attention seeker who loves nothing more than snuggles and fuss. Together, they’re the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle time.

They came into rescue together and are looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side – they’re the best of friends and couldn’t imagine life apart.

They must be rehomed together, can live with children, and could also live with a cat-savvy dog.

When they are older they will need safe outdoor access away from busy roads. Both girls have been vet checked, flea & worm treated, microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated. They also come with 5 weeks free insurance.

They are currently in Hornchurch and ready to meet their forever family!

Fred & Scooby

Curious, playful kittens who are as charming as they are cheeky. They share a love of playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention.

Whether they’re chasing toys, tumbling around together, or curling up for a snooze, these kittens are full of fun and affection – guaranteed to bring smiles and laughter to their new families.

They must be rehomed together, and can live with cat-savvy children but they are not a fan of dogs. When older, they will need safe outdoor access away from busy roads.

They have been vet checked, flea & worm treated, microchipped, neutered, and are vaccinated. They also comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

They are currently in Hornchurch and ready to meet you!

Tilly & Socks

Meet Tilly & Socks, brother and sister needing a second chance!

These two lovely cats are 2 1/2 yrs old and looking for their furrever home, preferably together.

Previously they were living a happy life with a family who they’d been with from kittens. Unfortunate circumstances meant they had to live with the family’s parents, who already had 6 cats of their own. Sadly it didn’t work out and there was stress and fighting, so they came to us for rehoming.

Socks is a very confident, loving, ginger boy straight from the start.

He’s a big, long legged boy and full of purrs and head bumps. A gentle giant. He asks for attention by poking me and stretching up my legs.

Tilly is also very affectionate and loves attention. She’s more cautious and timid to start than her brother and It took her about a week to gain confidence and really come out of her shell.

They are vet checked, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with worm and flea treatment. Both need to be an only pet or better still, be adopted together. Only older children please as they have never met little ones. They are not street savvy at all and won’t understand cars and roads – they have never been outside, so an indoor home is needed or alternatively someone who has a catio or cat proof garden would be ideal. They are in Romford ready for you to meet them!

A warm, dry shelter (stable, barn, outbuilding, etc.)

Daily food and fresh water

A safe environment away from busy roads

Someone willing to keep an eye on them

They are ideal for properties looking for natural pest control while still offering the cats a safe, supported life.

If you can offer a safe home or want more information, please get in touch – these three youngsters are ready to settle somewhere secure and supported.

Tabitha

Meet our beautiful Tabitha

Our beautiful girl Tabitha is looking for her furever home and beautiful though she is she is a tortoiseshell and lives up to the name of naughty tortie, she chats, chats and chats some more, life is not quiet with Tabitha

Tabitha is not cat or dog friendly so we are looking for a home as an only pet, but she was very gentle and loving with my 4 year old granddaughter, who said she was my best foster cat ever

Sadly, she is not cat or dog friendly but is great with gentle cat savvy children. She would like access to a safe garden away from busy roads but we could consider a spacious indoor home too.

Currently in Aveley, and more than ready to say hello to her new paw-rents!

Judy & Liza – RESERVED

Judy and Liza came into our care after Judy gave birth in a garden, and now they’re ready to find their loving forever home together.

Judy, estimated to be around 3 years old, is a chatty girl with a unique little meow. She enjoys playtime and loves her food, but she also appreciates finding a cosy spot to relax and watch the world go by.

Liza, now 4 months old, is full of beans and always on the move. She adores a fuss, but playtime is definitely her favourite activity.

They do tolerate other cats in their foster home most of the time and could live happily with older children. Judy and Liza would love a home with a safe garden, well away from busy roads, for Liza to explore once she’s old enough to go outside.

They’re currently located in Rainham and are available for visits!

Betsey

Betsey is a beautiful tabby girl who came into Pippa’s through no fault of her own. Her much loved human mum had to move into assisted housing where pets weren’t allowed. She refused to go until she knew Betsey would be safe and well cared for, but sadly her family were unable to take her in.

Betsey is 10 years old and used to a calm, quiet home. She would be best suited to an adult only household without other pets. She has a clear preference for women and can be uncertain around men, but once she learns to trust you, she’s very affectionate. Betsey enjoys gentle strokes and will happily weave around your legs for attention. She absolutely loves her lickie treats and will give you those irresistible eyes when she wants more.

Betsey is currently in Southend and is available for visits. She’s a sweet, loyal girl who just needs the right person to offer her a peaceful forever home.
